Virtual Reality
Treatment of phobias, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, and other anxiety disorder

Virtual reality (VR) is an interactive computer-generated experience taking place within a simulated environment, which incorporates a powerful visual and audio experience. This immersive environment allows for better control of the situations that confront our patients.

Here at Point Loma Clinic, we use Virtual Reality to treat conditions such as phobias (such as fear of flying, fear of needles or animals), obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other anxiety-based disorders. We also use it to enhance relaxation and mindfulness experiences.   You can also include Virtual Reality as part of your ketamine treatment.
